Court findings, allegations and research classifications are kept separate
Court/ruling records are recorded only when tied to an order, opinion or report and recommendation. Party statements, research classifications and public statements are labelled and displayed separately from court findings. See Methodology for the full evidence rules.
No warranty of completeness or currency
Each case page records a "Last researched" date. A pending or unresolved status should be read as current only to that date unless the page cites a newer source. Public dockets change after a case page was last checked.
No endorsement or implication of wrongdoing
Inclusion of a case, defendant, dispute or research classification on this site does not imply wrongdoing, liability or endorsement by this project. A dismissal is not automatically labelled frivolous, and a research classification is not a judicial finding.

Reuse
Reuse of the site's original structured metadata and research annotations is governed by the dataset license, which does not extend to third-party court documents, videos or other source material.
