Two new federal lawsuits filed the day before this sweep (October 7, 2026)

A combined new-case, docket, party-list and claims sweep across the federal courts, New York state and Lackawanna County found two lawsuits the tracker did not hold. Both were filed in the Middle District of Pennsylvania on Oct. 6, 2026, the day before the sweep. One names State Farm, BMW of North America and the Dickson City Police Department, the same three defendants as a Lackawanna County case that was still pending when it was filed. The other names Google, Alphabet, Richard Burgess and the Vegan Gains channel, and is the first action to join two groups of defendants that until now appeared in separate cases; an emergency request for a writ of seizure and an emergency motion for a restraining order were filed with it and emergency status was denied the same day. Neither complaint is obtainable, so both are recorded as unclear repeat filings rather than confirmed ones.

The complaint in the August 2026 property-assessment case against Tyler Technologies, Lackawanna County and others was obtained for the first time, and its account of what the case is about has been rewritten from the pleading itself rather than from docket metadata. All six defendants are now corroborated by the complaint's own caption. Its later pages are scanned images, so the causes of action and the relief sought are still unread and the entry says so.

Ten federal cases whose recorded party list rested on a single thin source were checked against the court's own party record and all ten were correct; no defendant was missing from any case, and an open question about a possible second defendant in the Agriculture Department case was resolved against it. A Third Circuit appeal was confirmed still pending by reading the district docket beneath it. Two dockets found under the same surname were examined and excluded as other people.

Three Pennsylvania Superior Court appeals could not be checked because the state appellate portal refused connections for the third consecutive pass, and the free federal archive carries no Second Circuit docket for this litigant at all. Those are recorded as gaps in the sources, not as findings about the appeals.

Note

Two new lawsuits were added, both filed Oct. 6, 2026 in federal court in Pennsylvania. One repeats the defendants of a county case that is still open; the other is the first to name two previously separate groups of defendants together. Neither complaint is publicly available, so neither is recorded as a confirmed repeat filing. Separately, the complaint in the county property-assessment case was obtained and that case's summary now rests on the pleading itself.
